Mechanical 3D Model Designers
With over 50 years combined experience in the design of mechanical components, assemblies and machines for manufacture, Solid Innovations mechanical draughtsman will be able to understand the challenges facing the design, development and manufacture of your mechanical products.
Using the latest 3D CAD software SolidWorks® mechanical design issues are highlighted during the conceptual design process, as physical testing and simulation is performed on the 3D model in the early stages of development. Mechanical and structural detailing follow a logical order that is customised to suit the clients individual manufacturing requirements.
Cutting edge 3D drafting tools may then be used to communicate the mechanism or component easily to the client, prior to the creation of the drawings for manufacture. This ensures the concept is easily understood by the client, as multiple configurations of the model are able to be communicated clearly and concisely. Once the concept and design are approved the model is then ready to go to drawings
Due to the experience of Solid Innovations designers the 3D modelling techniques used always follow the same order as the manufacturing process required to make the product. This ensures that the workshop drawings flow seamlessly through production and are easy to group for production planning and entry into MRP systems. Making full use of detailed bill of materials, isometric and exploded views, workshop personnel find the mechanical drawings easy to read and understand, which saves time in production. Drawings are always completed to Australian Standards and 1:1 DXF profiles are also supplied for profile cut parts in production.
BIM (Building Information models) can be created of your products that can be used in architectural packages and available online, making your products more selectable to designers.
